This premium pre-book service provides all departing passengers with swift access to the airport’s security area. Airlines apply their own policies regarding the size and number of pieces of hand baggage permitted onboard. For more information please contact your airline.

We advise all passengers to allow sufficient time to pass through the security zone to ensure they are able to board their flight.
LBA is currently running a trial to improve passenger transit to the security zone. For those who allow ample time, then the standard security queue should be used, at no charge. For those who are delayed or turn up late, we recommend the fast track lane which is a chargeable facility.

Access is gained through the Fast Track lane upon presentation of a valid booking confirmation for each person travelling. To proceed swiftly to the passenger security area, all passengers with a Fast Track booking should look for the Fast Track logos.
Short Stay & Business Car Park passengers are entitled to FREE Fast Track. This is valid for up to 4 persons per ticket. Information can be found on reverse of the car park entry ticket and should be presented on arrival to the security area.
Yorkshire Premier Club members and passengers of British Airways, bmi regional, Eastern Airways, Flybe, KLM and Monarch holding certain ticket types - check with the airline for details. For these passengers access is gained upon presentation, at the central screening zone, of a valid boarding card.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they arrive at their departure gate at the published boarding time as stated by their airline.

What are the benefits of using this service?
This service provides passengers with the ability to avoid waiting in the standard queue to the security area that can develop at peak times. Typical wait times at peak periods can reach 20 to 25 minutes.
Am I guaranteed that I would not to have to wait in a queue?
No. However, Leeds Bradford International Airport will carefully monitor the Fast Track queue to ensure that times will be kept to a minimum.
Do I have to use the Fast Track lane if I have pre-booked the service?
No. However, passengers must allow sufficient time to arrive at their departure gate at the published boarding time as stated by their airline. You will not receive a refund if you do not use the Fast Track facility.
Will I avoid the security screening area by using this service?
No. All passengers departing from Leeds Bradford Airport are subject to the same rigorous security checks regardless of using the Fast Lane or the standard queue lane.
Will I still have to comply to the same Government security restrictions if I use Fast Track?
Yes. The same criteria in relation to prohibited items i.e. limited quantities of liquids and restrictions on sharps still apply. Please check before you fly.

Is a booking fee applied to my order?
Currently there is NO booking fee for any order placed online. The price shown is the total amount that will be charged to your credit or debit card. An additional charge will apply for payments made by credit card.
How far ahead can I book Fast Track?
You may book up to 12 months ahead of your travel date and in doing so will not be subject to any change in the price which may be introduced before your travel date.
Can I book at short notice?
You can book up to 24 hours before your arrival time at the Airport. However, short notice bookings may be affected by an occasional lack of availability particularly in peak travel periods.
Can I amend or cancel my booking and, if so, will I receive a refund?
Yes. You can cancel or amend your booking up to 24 hours before arrival. You will receive a refund should you cancel your booking however card charges will not be refunded. Amendments may be subject to additional charges if the price has changed since you originally made your booking.
What payment methods are accepted?
Passengers can pay for their pre-booking using the following credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We are unable to accept Maestro, Solo, Diners Club or Electron cards and cheques for bookings.
How do I enter the Fast Track lane?
Having purchased a pre-book ticket for each person travelling, passengers should make their way to the security area, on the ground floor, just beyond check-in hall A. The Fast Track lane is clearly sign posted. On entry to the security area you will be required to provide your booking confirmation email and boarding card to the security staff.
If I have booked for more than one person can we enter the Fast Track lane separately?
No. If you have made a booking for more than one person then the people on that booking must use the Fast Track lane together. If you want to use Fast Track at different times to the person you are travelling with then you need to book the Fast Track on an individual basis.
What if I have forgotten or lost my booking reference number?
You must bring the confirmatory email with you, which will contain your booking reference number. If there is a query on entry and you do not have your written confirmation with the booking reference with you access will be denied and you will be required to use the standard queue. You will not be entitled to a refund.
How do I know my payment details are secure?
This site uses SSL encryption software, which is the industry standard. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit or debit card number, and your name and address so that it cannot be read as information travels over the Internet. You will know you are in a secure area of the site when a padlock appears in the bottom right hand corner of your web browser and you will be warned if you are about to leave the secure area.
How do I know that my order has been placed?
Within 24 hours of placing your order you will receive an email with a booking reference number confirming all details. Important: You must print this email and bring it with you to the airport in case of any query. Can I transfer my booking to another person?
No. Your booking is non-transferable.
Will there be a charge for babies and children?
No. With effect from 1st August 2011, any passengers under the age of 12 years will not be charged for using Fast Track, when accompanied by an adult.
How long will my ticket be valid for?
Your ticket is valid only on the day of travel, for the time specified within the booking.
