Capital of the EU, Brussels is a cultured city with lively, fun loving atmosphere.
Any visit should start with a tour around the city, to include a stop at the “Mannekin Pis” statue and a stroll around the Grand Place – the main market square which forms the centre of the city, with its breathtaking architecture, many cafes and bars and market stalls.
Wander through the narrow, winding streets, and sample the first class cuisine of the excellent restaurants in ‘I’llot Sacre’ or stop at one of the many sidewalk cafes around the bustling Place de Brouckere to taste the famous beers and chocolates. Visit the Galleries Saint Hubert the magnificent St Michael’s Cathedral and just the 19th century Sablons area to take in the culture or spend some Euro’s in one the many shops!
To top off your visit, take a trip to the awe-inspiring Atomium, worth it for the view alone. A good choice for a short break, Brussels is small but has plenty to offer.
