Maintenance Engineer x 3
Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) now welcomes over 3 million passengers through our doors and is growing quickly. We are now recruiting 3 Maintenance Engineers to support the Maintenance Manager as part of a newly formed maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of safety and business critical assets, predominantly in the Terminal Building and Car Parks. Working a shift pattern of 2 early shifts, 2 late shifts and 2 days off (averaging 39 hours per week) with a salary between £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending upon experience. The successful candidates must have the following qualifications:-
City & Guilds 236 Qualified Electrician who has ideally served a recognised Electrical apprenticeship with experience of small installation works.
City & Guilds 2382 Requirements Electrical Installations BS7671 June 2003 (17th Edition).
City & Guilds 2377-12 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment (Portable Appliance Testing) and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
You will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work under your own initiative using your analytical problem solving skills. With a knowledge of health & safety and environmental legislation, you will have a good understanding of mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic engineering, plant and processes, COSHH, Risk Assessment and Method statements. Previous experience of working in an airport environment would be advantageous.
