Leeds Bradford Airport offers a 10 minute grace period in the Drop Off & Pick Up zone only.
The Drop Off & Pick Up zone is accessible for picking up or dropping off passengers only and allows up to 10 minutes free of charge. Please be aware that this zone operates a no return within 30 minute policy, therefore if you use your free 10 minutes and leave the car park and return within 30 minutes, you will automatically be charged the first tariff rate on entry, which is currently £3.00.
To take advantage of the free 10 minute grace period, collect a ticket at the car park entry barrier, drop off or pick up your passengers, proceed directly to the exit and place your ticket into the exit barrier.
If you leave your vehicle and go into the terminal building and subsequently present the ticket to a payment machine it will charge the appropriate parking fee. If you stay over the 10 minute grace period, you will be charged the current rate as per the tariff board.
