LBA News - Warsaw Competition

3rd January 2017

To celebrate the launch of four new Ryanair flights to Warsaw, Gran Canaria, Vilnius and Bratislava, Leeds Bradford Airport ran a ‘Flights to Europe’ competition and one lucky prize winner -  Lorna Kellet - had the amazing opportunity to explore Warsaw in Winter.

Lorna, from Manchester, spotted the competition on social media. Along with her partner Rick Bithell, she travelled from Leeds Bradford Airport in December to explore the Polish capital.

Lorna told us: “I’ve always wanted to go to Poland, so what better place to start than the capital? It was a lovely surprise to win a pair of return flights so I could go and start exploring. Warsaw in the winter is really beautiful, we stayed right in the heart of the Old Town which was a perfect place for sightseeing the town squares, memorials, castles and churches.

“We can't wait to go back and we’re very grateful to Leeds Bradford Airport and Ryanair for the prize.”

Warsaw is a great destination to explore all year round, from the markets at Christmas time to the parks and gardens in summer and so we are very excited to be offering twice-weekly services for our passengers with Ryanair. Flights to Gran Canaria, Vilnius and Bratislava will also be operating twice weekly through the Winter and into Summer 2017.
