What should I do when I arrive?
If you have booked through this website, please follow the instructions on your booking confirmation. For bookings made through third party booking agents, please check your booking instructions carefully prior to arrival and raise any queries with the booking agent in advance.
Where can I park?
There are a number of car parking options available to suit your requirements, please see Airport Parking for details. You can find your way to the airport car parks by following the road signage from Whitehouse Lane or by using our map. When parking your vehicle, please make a note of the car park zone you are using.
How do I get to the terminal building?
From the Long Stay Car Park, our courtesy shuttle bus runs 24/7 to transfer you and your luggage right to the terminal entrance. The bus journey takes approximately 4-5 minutes – just head to the closest bus stop. On your return, the courtesy shuttle bus will pick you up from the terminal building and take you back to the Long Stay car park.
From Viking Airport Parking our shuttle bus is available 24/7 to transfer you to and from the terminal, the journey takes approximately 2 minutes.

Terminal Front Express - 1 minute
Premium Short Stay - 1-2 minutes
Meet & Greet - 0-2 minutes
Short Stay - 2 minutes
Mid Stay - 2-3 minutes
Can I turn up and park?
Yes, you can turn up at the following car parks without pre-booking (although please note that the best rates are available when they are booked in advance):
Premium Short Stay
If you have not pre-booked, take a token at the car park entry barrier on your arrival at the airport and keep it with you until you return from your trip. Please keep your car park token in a safe place as lost tokens have a fee of £10 plus the parking tariff.
On your return to the airport, insert your token into any car park pay machine in the terminal. Alternatively you can pay at the exit barrier of the car park - simply insert your token and the parking charge will be displayed. You will be prompted to insert a debit/credit card to make your payment. Receipts can also be provided on request at any of the exit barriers.
Can I amend or cancel my booking?
If you have pre-booked via this website, amendments and cancellations can be made up to 4 hours before the entry start time and date of your original booking for most car parks. For Meet & Greet this is up to 48 hours before entry and for Viking Airport Parking up to 24 hours before entry. Full details about cancellations and amendments to pre-bookings for car parking can be found in our Booking Terms and Conditions, which include the additional terms which apply to Meet and Greet or Viking Airport Parking.
My flight is delayed - can I extend my car parking?
No problem. We know that sometimes our customers arrive back a little later than intended so we allow a short grace period free of charge. If you need longer, the car park barrier on exit will calculate the overstay price for you, so you can simply make payment on your way out.
I’ve lost my confirmation email. What can I do?
Not to worry. We can resend your confirmation – just login to your account and request one.
I’ve not received my confirmation email. What can I do?
Check that the email is not in junk or any other folders in your inbox. Still not got it? Email us on email@example.com and we'll fix this for you.
We recommend our customers add firstname.lastname@example.org to their safe senders list to help delivery of future email confirmations.
I’m a Blue Badge holder, where do I park?
We have allocated Blue Badge spaces in our car parks. Please see special assistance parking for full details.
I have a problem with my booking. What can I do?
- All car parks have a width restriction of 2.5 metres
- Short Stay and Mid Stay have height restrictions of 1.9 metres
- The Terminal Front Express car lane and Meet & Greet have a height restriction of 1.9 metres; the bus lane has no height restrictions
- For vehicles larger than the Meet & Greet barrier restrictors, access to the Meet & Greet service is available by pressing the intercom at the adjacent Minibus & Coach Lane barrier.
- Viking Airport Parking has a height restriction of 2.7 metres
- Long Stay and the Free One Hour Parking Zone have no height restrictions
