Snapshot of the role:
Reporting to the Head of PMO, the Senior PMO Analyst/Project Manager will be a hybrid role, providing project management support in a portfolio of projects, identified as part of the 5 year strategy. This will include involvement of the planning activities, risks and issues management, change control, document and configuration management, monitoring and coordinating tasks, negotiating and conflict management, representing the Head of PMO where necessary and project managing your own projects.
The Senior PMO Analyst/Project Manager’s prime responsibility is to ensure that together with the Head of PMO, assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints. This should be achieved by appropriate adherence to LBA’s standard project management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2) and best practice within the profession, involving the production of plans, documentation and guidance for project teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all organisational procedures are adhered to.

What we need from you:
First and foremost, we need you to have a proven track record in project management to join our team. The role requires strong project management skills coupled with a relentless drive to achieve results. You should possess the ability to meticulously analyse project data and extract key information to facilitate decision-making, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills to drive necessary actions.
You will have prior experience in project management and PMO roles, demonstrating a keen ambition to advance your career. Experience within a dynamic and evolving environment is highly desirable. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities including providing analysis to support decision-making, offering guidance on project processes, managing report cycles, and maintaining financial controls. Additionally, you will be able to confidently lead your own projects from initiation to completion while adhering to established controls and processes.
It is a must that you have a clear understanding of End-to-End Project Lifecycle and have previous experience in a Prince2 or similar environments. A strong track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects within a complex business setting is essential. Proficiency in MS Project and Excel is required, along with familiarity with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.

To support the Customer Experience team, we are looking to recruit a Duty Support Officer to join Leeds Bradford Airport, to assist in providing additional outstanding support to the terminal operation.
Snapshot of the role:
The main role of the Duty Support Officer (DSO) will be to support the Airport Duty Manager (ADM) with the operational needs of LBA. The DSO on shift will be the main contact for all day to day operational needs, escalating major findings to the ADM.
As the DSO role will mainly consist of being in and around the terminal, it is imperative that the DSO prioritises the customer journey through LBA. The DSO will be the ‘eyes & ears’ of the terminal, ensuring the customer experience is maintained at a high standard and improvements made where necessary. The business has a high drive on customer experience and the face to face communication with passengers will be led and delivered by the DSO Team, ensuring that members of the team are based at key areas within the terminal delivering high customer service to all passengers.
Throughout a day’s operation the DSO will be based in the terminal operation, conducting regular checks on all areas of the terminal. Whilst the priority of the role will be the face to face communication with passengers, the appearance of the terminal is also a high priority of the business, ensuring all passengers experience the best journey through LBA as possible. The DSO Team will be responsible for ensuing all areas of the terminal remain fully operational, ensuring the safety, security and experience for all passengers remain at a high standard.

Air Traffic Engineer
PERMANENT 39 hours per week – 4 on 4 off + On Call roster

We are currently seeking a highly
skilled individual to join our team in the role of Air Traffic Engineer. The
ideal candidate will have proven experience in electronic systems within an Air
Traffic Engineering Environment, including expertise in primary/secondary
radar, instrument landing systems, distance measuring equipment, digital voice
switch, and associated transmitters and receivers. A solid understanding of
safety and Quality Management Systems is essential, along with strong
motivational and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative team
setting. The successful candidate must be adept at both strategic and tactical
approaches to ensure efficient maintenance of operational systems and projects.
A minimum National Certificate in Electronics or equivalent qualification is
required, along with proficiency in computer literacy. Additionally, the
ability to obtain and retain UK CAA Personal Technical Certificates (PTC) is
necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for fostering effective
teamwork, and the candidate should demonstrate the ability to remain calm and
focused under pressure. Experience in Direction Finding Systems is desirable.

As a Systems Support Analyst you will be responsible for providing a high level of support and maintenance of the airport systems and infrastructure. This individual will be an integral part of the IS Department reporting directly to the Information Systems Manager to help improve the support of airport systems across a single airport campus, consisting of 550 staff.

This role really suits someone who will thrive at working throughout different parts of the airport daily. Whether it be supporting our fire team, our staff based in the terminal or supporting teams airside, you will never have many days that are the same.

· Ability to take direction and work to targets and goals unsupervised
· Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability to work within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving

· A good team-playing mentality with a willingness to learn and develop.

· Provide critical system support and maintenance for operational systems outside of normal working hours (on a 1 in 7 rota basis)
