  • Is the Airport open 24hrs a day?

    The Airport is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • What is the baggage allowance at LBA?

    Individual airlines may have their own baggage weight limitations, however in order to safeguard the health of airport workers passengers should pack their bags so that individual bags do not exceed 20kg, where this can not be achieved no single bag should weigh more than 32kg and be clearly marked as heavy.   • What time do the catering facilities both landside and airside open?

    Generally all catering outlets are open when flights are arriving or departing. Check out the bars and restaurants page on the website for further information.

  • Can I buy my euro's at the airport before I go on holiday?

    There are three Travelex Bureaus at Leeds Bradford Airport, where you can purchase all major worldwide currencies and traveller’s cheques upon arrival or before you arrive. Click here for further information.

  • Are there any banks at the airport?

    There are five ATM points within the terminal building. Travelex ATM points are situated in the main arrivals area opposite the Cafe Ritazza seating area. There are also Link ATM points located in both Check in Hall A and B, both dispensing Sterling and Euro notes. After passing through security an Alliance and Leicester ATM point can be found on the first floor of the Departure Lounge.

  • Can I fly to............ from Leeds Bradford?

  • What is the fare to .........?

    Fares differ depending on various factors e.g. availability, duration and airline. After selecting your scheduled or holiday destination please contact your local ABTA travel agent or the relevant airline or tour operator for prices and availability.

  • I'm going on holiday to Spain can I take bacon with me?

    Restrictions on taking food items abroad can change at any time due to many different factors and for full details, you are advised to check with the consulate of the country that you are travelling to. Click here for an outline of any current food restrictions.

  • How do I get from LBA to Leeds, Bradford etc ...?

  • What hotels are situated near the airport?

    There is an on-site Travelodge that is served by a courtesy bus to/from the terminal building. Alternatively, cheap rates are available from a range of local hotels at laterooms.com

  • I've lost my baggage, what do I do?

    The airline that you travel with is responsible for your luggage so if your suitcase does not appear when you arrive at your destination or at Leeds Bradford Airport you must report this to the airline staff before you leave the baggage collection area.

  • What do I do if I have left something in the airport whilst travelling through?

  • I have a pacemaker, will this effect me when going through the x-ray?

    Please advise the relevant handling agent of your condition before your date of travel and also bring with you to the airport written notification of your condition from your doctor, specialist or hospital.

  • I want to send my son to see his grandma in Dublin but he is only 12, can he fly unaccompanied?

    Every airline has it’s own guidelines and restrictions on children travelling alone so you should contact the airline directly or the relevant handling agent.

  • How long before the flight do we have to check-in?

    Check-in times vary depending on your destination and airline. For full details you should check with the airline that you are travelling with or the relevant handling agent.
