New from the 1st April 2026, we are please to announce that we are expanding the Six Eight One Lounge to create a new quiet area perfect for adults and business travellers. 

• A dedicated area of 65 seats perfect for adults who want a quieter start to their holiday
• Private tea, coffee and soft drinks area with a deliver to table waiter bar service
• Floor to ceiling windows looking out towards the airfield
• Dedicated workstations with ample charging points, perfect for business users

Home to the Yorkshire Lass

Our signature cocktail, expertly crafted by the award-winning mixologists at Tabula Rasa in Leeds, brings a true taste of Yorkshire to the Six Eight One Lounge.

This elegant blend of rhubarb and ginger gin, zesty lemon juice, Passoã, and a touch of Aqua Faba offers the perfect balance of tart and sweet, finished with a silky smooth texture. Inspired by local ingredients and Yorkshire’s bold character, the Yorkshire Lass is a celebration of flavour, heritage, and craftsmanship.

Exclusively available as part of the drinks offering in Six Eight One, it’s a standout choice for those looking to begin their journey with something special.

Whether you're starting your day with a light breakfast or enjoying a hearty meal before take-off, our buffet offers something for every appetite. With a menu that changes daily, you'll find a fresh selection of hot dishes, light bites, and sweet treats, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

In the morning... 

Start your day right with our breakfast buffet, including:

• Cold Selection: Natural yoghurt bar with forest fruit compote, honey, mixed seeds, dried fruit, natural honey and a range of cereals and fresh fruit.
• Bakery Favourites: Croissants, Danish pastries, and sliced bloomer breads ready for toasting, served with butter and preserves.
• Hot Breakfast Options: Grilled back bacon, pork butchers’ sausages, vegan sausages, hash browns, baked beans, herb roasted mushrooms, grilled vine tomatoes, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs.

From Lunch to Dinner...

Our lunch and evening buffet offers a regularly changing selection of freshly prepared hot dishes, including:

• Meat & Poultry Favourites: French style chicken served with a mushroom and tarragon chasseur sauce. Classic Chilli Con Carne. Southern style BBQ chicken drumsticks.
• Global & Spiced Dishes: Thai green chicken curry with butternut squash and sweet potato.
• Vegetarian & Plant-Based Options: Plant based Chilli Sin Carne.

Dishes are served with suitable vegetables, potatoes, pulses and rice to complement your selection. All dishes are subject to change at the kitchen’s discretion.

 

Childrens Food Options

During childrens school holiday time, there will also be a childrens menu available including:

Fish fingers, chicken nuggets, Quorn dippers, oven baked wedges and vegetables including peas and carrots.

Salad Bar & Pasta Bar...

Complement your meal or enjoy something lighter with our fresh salad bar, offering:
Mixed leaves, tomato and onion salad, cucumber salad, rainbow coleslaw, potato salad, Tuna and sweetcorn pasta salad and more with assorted dressings, crispy onions, and croutons.

 

Our daily pasta bar offers a hot pasta selection with two sauces available and is served with Italian hard cheese:

Rich Napoli tomato sauce or Creamy cheese sauce.
