Passenger Notice – Road Closure on Harrogate Road (Rawdon)

Please be advised that emergency works are scheduled to take place on Harrogate Road, near the junction with Green Lane, Rawdon.

• Start date: 10 November 2025

• Duration: Up to one week

• Reason for closure: Essential repairs to a culvert leak currently causing flooding on the highway.

During this period, Harrogate Road will be closed at the location shown on the below map, and a diversion route will be in place.

Passengers travelling to Leeds Bradford Airport are advised to allow extra time for their journey and to follow the signed diversion.

These works are necessary to prevent hazardous conditions and ensure road safety, particularly as temperatures fall and the risk of ice increases.
