A major beach destination in Israel, Tel Aviv benefits from it prime position along the Mediterranean Sea. Popular amongst locals and tourists alike, the sandy beachfronts are perfect for a sunny break.

Over the past couple of decades Tel Aviv has grown into a bustling cosmopolitan city whilst still retaining its cultural charm. A must see is The White City, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are over 4000 Bauhaus white buildings, take a guided tour and spend a leisurely afternoon exploring.

A couple of kilometres south of Tel Aviv you’ll stumble upon Jaffa, an Old Port, which has been wonderfully restored and is now home to a plethora of restaurants and artisan boutiques. Spend the day discovering the quaint old port before heading to the dining quarter for some delicious local cuisines.

Why not treat yourself to a natural spa day with a trip to the Dead Sea? Exfoliate with the natural mud and experience the weightlessness of floating in the mineral enriched water.

Art lovers should definitely visit the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Designed by Preston Scott Cohen, the building itself is enough of a reason to visit - a modern envelope style gallery housing an impressive collection of impressionist and post-impressionist work.

There’s only one way to get around Tel Aviv and that’s by bicycle! Make like a local and hire one from the Tel-O-Fun, the first 30 minutes are free and you can drop them off at over 150 stations throughout the city. Is there anything more idyllic than cycling down the promenade at sunset listening to the sea gently lapping the sand!
