Discover Malaga

With all the delicious cuisine and atmosphere you would expect from the Mediterranean, Malaga is a luxurious spot to watch the world go by, whether lounging poolside or exploring the ancient streets. Malaga still clings on to 20°C and above into autumn and bits of winter. Even hotter for the sunbathers in the summer, the always mild climate makes Picasso's hometown a lovely place to tour anytime of year.

The city of Malaga

Commonly known as “the capital of the Costa del Sol", Malaga is a city that channels the casual pace of life so traditional in rural Spain. However, if you're on a short visit, it may be worth skipping the siesta; with so many things to see and do, there's little time for napping.

A key city in artistic history, Malaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, where the Museo Picasso Malaga was established in his memory. There's also the Carmen Thyssen Museum, boasting a vast number of 19th century Spanish paintings.

Outdoor adventures in Southern Spain

Tour the hills of Andalucia, be blown away by dramatic Ronda and savour breathtaking sunsets. Sierra Nevada might translate as snow-covered mountains but we reckon the only white stuff you'll be on the lookout for are the gorgeous, whitewashed villages set in the hills.
